    • Abstract:
      Information on topics discussed at the World Circular Economy Forum that was held in Yokohama, Japan in October 2018 is presented. Topics discussed include the economic and environmental advantage of shifting into value-retention processes (VRPs) such as remanufacturing, refurbishing, and direct reuse; the linear model used in manufacturing; and the business opportunities of reducing raw materials sourcing.
